Day 1

Bolt Bus Leather Seating

Need to book in advance.  Complimentary super slow wifi on board (for the desperate)!

Cafe Habana

Known for grilled corn, roast pork and cuban sandwiches
Anticipate a 1 hour wait.  Also has a separate To Go store if you’re in a hurry

Day 2

Prosperity Dumpling

Super CHEAP fried and boiled dumplings. $4 will fill you up.  Opens early @ 7:30am.
Very small, hole in the wall atmosphere. Very small bar seating.

Ed Sullivan Theater

Go to Ed Sullivan theater the day of taping between 9am-12pm to enter in a lottery for free tickets.  Usually has no line!

Other shows to try to be in a studio audience:
Jimmy Kimmel Live, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Saturday Night Live, The View, etc.

They even have ping pong tables!
Sometimes they have street fairs, concerts or a ice skating in the winter.

Best ramen I’ve had in the US!
Wait time is ridiculous.  We waited 1.5 hours on a Wednesday night!

Day 3

Sullivan’s Bakery

This place wasn’t originally planned for us, but it was close to our hotel.
Interesting pizzas and great plain olive oil bread.  Recommend the champagne grape pizza and potato pizza.  I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here though.

Bike entire Central Park
5 stars, ~560 reviews, free (not counting renting of bikes)
Book rentals online for 50% off @ AWESOME
$13 for 2 hour rental.  Nice employees gave us an extra 30 mins.
Hard to find bike place, located IN a parking garage next to Mandarin Hotel
Check out the lakes and castle in central park.  Bring food and water to stop and relax!

We ended up with 3rd row tickets at student pricing!  We bought it only a few hours before the show Amazing!  It’s the longest running musical on Broadway.  The theater is older.  Barebones good singing and acting.  The sets are NOT flashy, very simple. There isn’t even an orchestra pit, so the orchestra is all on stage, in risers.

Get the Shack Stack burger and frozen custard.
Website has online camera to monitor lines.  Expect to wait.

Belgain fries with 26 different sauces.  Large fries was enough for 4 people to split.
Notable sauces are the Mango Chutney Mayo, Parmesan Peppercorn and Pomegranate Teriyaki

Times Square

Metro to here.  No visit to New York is complete without seeing Times Square.
Walk around to soak in the lights and vendors.

Indian food cart that is walking distance from Time’s Square.
Kati roll was pretty good.  Although the 53rd & 6th Halal cart is FAR BETTER.

Flight out the next morning.  Ended the trip with our tummies full!
